Forestry

Black Bruin motor is used in forest machines as a wheel hub motor. In harvesting heads the Black Bruins has proven themselves as rugged rotator as well as a feed roller motor. The Black Bruin BBR or MR rotator is also a natural fit to turn any of the grapple attachments.

Wheel hub motors

The compact Black Bruin motor fits entirely inside the wheel and so leaves even more ground clearance between the wheels.

Rotators

Black Bruin rotator design is based on the radial piston motor thus giving the same highly efficient power seen in the motors. The power does not run out and a head or a grapple can be precisely positioned to wanted position.

Feed roller motor

In harvesting heads, Black Bruin motors rotate the "feed rollers" which move and carry the log. The compact motors have allowed the head designers to develop a handy, compact device, which can rapidly perform tasks previously requiring several work stages and different equipment.
