Since 1959, Black Bruin has specialized in hydraulic wheel drive technology for heavy-duty equipment operating in environments where mobility, performance, and reliability cannot be compromised. Developed and produced in Finland for deep snow, soft ground, steep gradients, and remote terrain, the motor delivers high torque directly at the wheel, providing additional tractive effort and enhanced mobility where conventional drivetrains may struggle. During transport and towing, the motor can be mechanically freewheeled, enabling conventional wheel hub functionality without hydraulic power.

Black Bruin’s radial piston motors are engineered for demanding drilling and ground-engagement applications, from foundation construction to military engineering.
