Black Bruin offers both rotating case and rotating shaft motors, available in a variety of displacements to suit diverse drilling requirements. Each one of the Black Bruin radial piston motors provides full torque at zero speed immediately upon start-up and are reliable sources of power for high lifetime cost-efficiency.

S-series

The S-series hydraulic direct drives are our response to the various needs in construction applications to produce continuous high power efficiently without gears. They now come with new options including displacements from 4400 ccm to 22500 ccm and direct mount valves.

CFA drills

Black Bruin motors have been successfully used in the CFA drills for almost 10 years. Continuous Flight Auger drilling (CFA), also known as auger cast piling, is a technique used in construction to create a concrete deep foundation. A continuous flight auger drill is used to excavate a hole and concrete is injected through a hollow shaft under pressure as the auger is extracted. Reinforcement is then inserted after the auger is removed. This creates a continuous pile without ever leaving an open hole.

Auger and screw pile drives

Black Bruin motors are being used as drive units for augers and screw piles. No matter if you are digging a hole or screwing a foundation pile in, Black Bruin direct drive offers quiet efficiency with strong bearing set-up. With a direct drive without gearbox, such as the Black Bruin, there is no need for gear oil changes. Motor case oil is continuously being exchanged through motor’s case drain line.

Proven on construction sites

In one of the final tests the new BB Drill made holes twice as fast as the older drill, mostly thanks to the ability to change the speed on the fly. I was instructed to try and break this drill in the testing stages. With the new manifold system this BB Drill is now bulletproof!
